Strategies for Surviving a Devastating Diagnosis

with Brooke Brundige, Educator and Ministry Leader

Have you or someone you love received a devastating diagnosis?  Me too.  Ugh, just utterly heart-breaking.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 and spent a year filled with appointments that led me to multiple surgeries and chemo.  I was eventually cancer-free.  I was one of the lucky ones.  My amazing brother didn’t get so lucky with his diagnosis.  He was diagnosed with A.L.S. in 2022 as a 53-year-old stellar athlete at the peak of his career.  He died less than a year later.  I walked closely with him and his family through the process…diagnosis, appointments, vacations to cherish moments together, weekly “bro nights,” and many hours of bedside family time.  So deeply devastating and yet every single moment with him felt like a gift.  I learned so much.  I would love to walk with you through the diagnosis and illness you or a loved one is facing, and we will together create a path for you to wherever that leads you.
